As the COVID-19 pandemic unfolds, if widespread outbreaks lead to community lockdowns, city lockdowns, island closures, or national borders closing, the public must practice home isolation to fight the pandemic together while taking care of mental health.
Therefore, besides essential outings (such as medical treatment or grocery shopping), appropriately arranging opportunities for the public to travel and exercise outdoors serves as a good way to relieve stress.
However, to prevent large crowds from gathering outdoors, governments could implement control measures. For example, individuals with ID numbers ending in ‘1’ could go out on the 1st, 11th, and 21st of each month; those ending in ‘2’ on the 2nd, 12th, and 22nd, and so on. This allows everyone to travel outdoors for three days each month.
